I found a site that finds editors/proofreaders for you, but they want to know what my budget for the entire project is. I'd like to say $0.00 (I'm a poor high school teacher with six mouths to feed), but I don't think I'm going to get an editor for free. Anyone know what a reasonable amount would be?
I have noted recently the upturn in people converting their roleplaying sessions into stories. This has made me consider how all of these voices would affect the end product, given that the typical roleplay has between 4 and 6 players as well as the game master. I realise that this is a little more complex compared to co-authoring with one other person if you are incorporating a story in third person. You would be forever asking those players about their motives, thoughts, etcetera... Any...
