I read the first 3 books and then got away from reading (I know, major sin) I wanted to pick up the series again but I don't read fast enough to read all 3 books again just to continue with the series. If anyone could summarize, by book, the first 3 books I know I could pick up the series and start enjoying it again. I'm just hesitant to move forward not knowing what I "should know" up to that point. Anyway, you'd be giving someone a really cool Christmas gift if you could provide the above. I really appreciate it. Thanks. - John

I have just begun reading the books myself. I do in fact have a question that needs to be answered. Hope that helps. Timothy-- people have been hoping for it, of course, but Weis and Hickman have both said for years that they have no plans to write any further Death Gate Cycle books. Unless they've changed their minds without making it public yet, that's not true.

I suppose they could but more than 7(?) books with the same characters could get tough. There weren't any spoilers in that were there? I love the series and have read it 3 or 4 times and always enjoy it. I always learn something new.
