Hello!
I posted this on another board a few weeks ago.

I am not sure if this will be read by Tracy. But hopefully others can give their opinions too!

I want to say that the DragonLance Chronicles and Legends are two of the most truly well thought out and satisfying book series (or any of the individual books alone) I have ever read.

Though I haven't played the Dungeons and Dragons game, nor am I at all familiar with it, nonetheless I feel that regardless of what it offers (I will look into it), Hickman and Weis have made something beautiful. Barring grammar and diction troubles, of course. (Is this standard?)

In Dragonlange Chronicles and Legends, the storytelling, character development, personalities, romance, as well as larger plot arcs, were all wonderful. Literally I believe you pair of writers to be on par with dan simmons, neil gaiman, tolkien, and no other. Surely you've received plenty of praise years before me, but I have only just discovered your series!

I am told that the series declines heavily after the first two trilogies--namely, after you pair stopped writing them. Not that I will avoid them because of rumour. But I'd like to hear anyone else's opinion. I read that Hickman and Weis don't make any money from the franchise name. Oh well--if the reputation is such that I have heard, you're not missing anything!

Thanks for reading!
